An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our nursing team in Mental Health divisions. We are looking for someone who can bridge the gap between the role of the support worker and the registered nurse.
You should have a genuine interest in working with people with mental health and/or learning disabilities. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be capable of problem solving and working well under pressure within a 7 days a week rota.
Working alongside our specialist nursing teams, successful candidates will support effective nursing care and nursing interventions for the people we support, helping to change the lives of others and making a difference whilst keeping Milestones Values at your core.
Led by the Nurse Practitioners, nurses will form part of a central nursing team who will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for the individuals living in our nursing homes. As a Registered Nursing Associate you will benefit from regular supervision, regular clinical updates and support from our Clinical Nurse Advisor. We are keen to support onward development and are currently supporting our Nursing Associates to complete their Registered Nurse training.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a Registered Nursing Associate
- Be educated to RQF level 5
- Be passionate about providing truly individualised care
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be a good problem solver and work well under pressure
- Have a flexible approach and the ability to demonstrate proactive and creative thinking
