Don’t miss this great opportunity to join our team on a full or part-time basis, to support one woman and three men living in a shared supported living service in Kingswood, not far from the high street and main bus routes.

We provide a service to support these individuals with a Learning Disability and/or enduring Mental Health needs who require members of staff who are enthusiastic, kind, caring, supportive, flexible to meet their needs, adaptable to change and who likes to spend time doing activities (both inside and outside of the service).

The tenants require some support in reaching their goals. They require someone who will have a person-centred approach and who will understand their different needs. The successful candidate(s) will be working on a 1:1 basis with the individuals alongside working core shifts.

The shift pattern varies depending on the day; however, the day shift is generally 10am – 6pm and the sleep-in shift is 4pm – 11pm (sleep-in) 7am – 10am. There are various 1-1 hours which we usually provide on Sunday – Friday although these can be flexible depending on the plans and wishes of the tenants.

It is important for these individuals to work with someone who is friendly, kind, reliable and patient but also someone who is driven, energetic, confident working on their own and has ideas on how to spend time productively.

If this sounds like you then you could be the person they are looking for!

In return we offer excellent, high-quality learning opportunities, including the opportunity to undertake a level 3 or 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care. Alongside this, other benefits include:

  • 30 days Annual Leave Entitlement
  • Get paid when you want – Access your money as you earn it and request your earnings before payday using Dayforce Wallet
  • Access to an Employee Discount Platform from Day 1, with discounts and cash back for hundreds of retailers.
  • Refer a Friend Scheme earning you up to £750
  • Company pension scheme, to help grow your retirement pot
  • Generous Occupational Maternity/Paternity pay
  • Learning and development opportunities for you to build your career
  • Health Cash Plan on completion of probation giving you access to a minimum of £695 cash back for health treatments e.g. Dental, Therapies, Optical, Maternity/Paternity, NHS Prescriptions etc.

We pride ourselves with being able to offer staff opportunities to develop and progress their careers within Milestones Trust.
