In this role, you will work with an established team and receive the training and support needed to succeed. Tramways is a purpose-built residential care home that prides itself on its homely, warm environment. The home offers a high standard of individualised care to people with mental health needs.
Catering and Nutritional Lead Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including cooking meals, budget responsibility, menu planning, cleaning schedules, and ordering.
- Ensure all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition, adhering to health and safety and food hygiene standards.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the team, including nurses and support workers, to complete and review nutritional support plans.
- Attend relevant training and team meetings as required.
- Enjoy working with people, be flexible, and a team player.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills to enhance the lives of those we support and find job satisfaction.
- Experience in kitchen management or willingness to learn.
