As a Casual Registered Nurse , you will be working with the people we support in our Learning Disability services with a focus on ensuring that people ’ s health needs are met on a day-to-day basis and in line with their person-centred plan s . As a member of our Casual Nurse team, you will be using your clinical expertise and working as part of a team to ensure that pe rson’ s immediate and long-term health needs are met. This may include assessing people’s physical health, recognising when people are deteriorating and giving the appropriate support . You will be required to support with clinical interventions and administration of medication . Depending on the location that you are working you may be required to travel between services that are geographically close to each other or offer support, guidance, and expertise over the phone. At other locations you will be based at one service for the duration of your shift. We will be able to choose from variety of shifts to cover across 24/7 period. It is desirable if you are flexible and can be available at short notice . All services offer person centred support to people with learning disabilities and complex health needs in homely environments. We offer induction shifts in a named service, with full medication competency, paid training sessions and an extremely competitive hourly rate . All our services are rated Good or Outstanding by CQC, so you can be confident you will be working alongside some of the best teams in the West!
