We provide specialist support for up to 7 individuals with complex Mental Health needs in a new Mental Health service. It is a 24hr-service with core support and additional 1:1 hours. The needs of the individuals are complex. Successful candidates will have experience of working in Mental Health Services and understand the challenges (and rewards that this brings).

Highly desirable experience includes:

Candidates should have demonstrable experience in working with individuals with complex Mental Health needs and the dynamic risk management this requires. The post includes weekend work and a mix of supernumerary and ‘on the floor’ work. We are considering a mix of full‑time and part‑time dependent on the needs of the service.

We are looking for person(s) that are experienced in Mental Health services, systems, legislations and paperwork to help improve the lives of the people we support and the service. You will be working closely with the people we support, the care team involved in their support and their family/support network to support individuals achieve their goals and become more independent. Experience working in linked services greatly encouraged.

This is a great chance for experienced or senior support workers already working in Mental Health or those working in partnered outside agencies to make the step up/across to make a positive impression on this new service already turning heads within the sector. This opportunity is to be part of the management team with the Service Manager and Service Coordinator already in post.

We are looking for resilient, self‑motivated individuals, who can use their initiative and be dynamic in their approach. This role will have many duties including line management duties, writing/reviewing support plans and liaising professionally with outside agencies amongst others. You need to be good at work prioritisation, time management and have excellent communication and IT skills.
