We are seeking exceptional educators to deliver engaging, mastery-based sessions across a variety of settings — from homeschooling and flexischooling to GCSE intensives and online Masterclasses. You will join a collaborative team working at the forefront of alternative, transformational education.
CORE REQUIREMENTS- Essential
- Based in West London for in-person tutoring.
- Experience working with children and/or young people (ages 5–18) in various capacities.
- Strong understanding of key performance goals such as Entrance Exams (7+–16+), ISEB, National Curriculum, Early Years (Reception–Year 2 literacy and numeracy), GCSE, A Level, IB, and University/Career pathways.
- Ability to plan and deliver interactive, high-quality learning sessions.
- Confident in teaching both 1:1 and small group formats.
- Excellent organisation, communication, and emotional intelligence skills.
- Exceptional observational skills with the ability to think critically and question effectively.
- Willingness to research, stay updated, and continue professional development.
- Committed to preparing ahead of sessions and tracking student progress.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Available to teach weekdays (8:30am–7:00pm, Mon–Fri).
- Able to commit to a minimum of one full term (10–12 weeks).
- Based in Central London, available 4 days a week (approximately 8 hours).
- Qualified Teacher or with previous classroom teaching/coaching experience, including QTS, PGCE, or extensive relevant teaching experience.
- Substantial experience tutoring children across various age groups and abilities.
- Creative with the ability to demonstrate innovative teaching methods.
- Strong interest in Psychology, Mind/Wellbeing, mindset, performance coaching, and enrichment teaching.
- Familiar with SEN-aware or trauma-informed pedagogy.
- Comfortable with both in-person (London-based) and online delivery.
- Deliver structured, engaging subject sessions aligned with Milestones’ 5-part method:
- Masterclass (core teaching)
- Challenge (creative/applied learning)
- 1:1 Coaching (tailored support)
- Rate: £40–£80/hour depending on experience, subject, and delivery format
- Rate includes group delivery, preparation time, and performance tracking
- Ad hoc 1:1 tuition also paid at £40–£80/hour
- Freelance position with regular, long-term opportunities
