We support two gentlemen with all aspects of their day-to-day lives, from cooking and cleaning their home to getting out and about to pursue their various activities and interests.
Both individuals are very active and enjoy a range of activities, which the successful candidate will be able to develop with them. The people we support at Woodyleaze are looking for staff who are creative and energetic, person-centred and patient, who can support them to make big and small achievements at their own pace.
As a Personal Assistant, you will provide support for the individuals that enables them to maintain independence and learn new skills, in a person-centred way. You will support them to develop relationships to maintain contact with family and friends, use your initiative and have an enthusiastic approach. We are ideally looking for a person with a full UK driving licence.
Staff are present 24 hours a day and must be willing to work sleep-in shifts and weekends on a rolling rota, and to support people with personal care. Shifts are 9:00 - 16:00 for 1:1 support and the Sleep-in shift is 16:00-22:00 / 6:00 - 9:00.

- Be a positive and energetic member of the team
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with colleagues, service users and a variety of stakeholders
- No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided
- Have a driving licence (this is desirable)
At Milestones Trust we recognise that without the hard work, commitment and passion of our staff, we wouldn’t be the charity that we are today. In return, we are committed to rewarding you with a competitive pay and benefits package including:
