We are currently working with an established investment management platform with £10+bn AuM of fee paying capital, invested through Private Credit, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Venture Capital & Strategic Equity investment strategies. The firm has a strategic growth plan to deepen their capabilities across these investment sectors, launch new strategies, and compete for large SMAs from large financial entities.

With this bold growth plan, the firm is looking to appoint a senior fundraiser to deepen their coverage and relationships with traditional UK Institutional Investors, alongside developing relationships in growing LP channels e.g. DC and private wealth for their comingled and semi-liquid fund products. This role would have significant autonomy to develop LP relationships within the UK, Ireland and further afield across the funds' investment strategies and would work closely with the leadership team on identifying strategic partners, product strategy and fund design for new fund mandates.

This role would be supported by a best in class investor relations team to help with project management of fundraising efforts. We view the ideal candidate for this role as having significant experience raising capital from UK and Ireland Institutional LPs (and potentially broader) for private credit, infrastructure equity / debt or real estate equity or debt.

Whilst this is an established investment management platform, this person would need to be comfortable taking on a lot of responsibility and have the nous to be able to operate in a fast-moving / growing organisation.

The ideal candidate will also have the following criteria/experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or other related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in investor relations or a private capital advisory role
  • Solutions-driven approach to fundraising from investors
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise time-sensitive tasks
  • Emotional intelligence and the ability to manage upwards in a lean organisation
