Morning Magic in the Early Years Job Title Nursery Teaching Assistant (Mornings Only) Salary £65 per day School Type Primary Location Coventry Hours 8:30am – 12:00pm, Part-Time, Contract Job Description We’re looking for a Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Coventry for mornings only. You’ll be supporting young learners in the early years phase, helping them explore the world through play, curiosity and early learning experiences. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on creating calm, engaging, and supportive routines in a nurturing classroom environment. Key Responsibilities * Support children aged 3-5 through structured and exploratory play * Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, behaviour management and care routines * Encourage communication, early literacy and numeracy through guided activities * Help maintain a safe, stimulating and happy setting each morning Required Experience * Previous classroom experience in EYFS * Understanding of early years frameworks and child development * A warm, patient and engaging attitude About the School Located in the heart of Coventry, this welcoming primary school values its strong sense of community and high expectations for all learners.
