We are in search of a dedicated Learning Support Mentor to Join our Team! Responsibilities: As a Learning Support Mentor, you will play an integral role in supporting students on their academic journey. Your responsibilities will include: Individualised Guidance: Build positive relationships with students, offering one-on-one support to help them overcome learning challenges. Resource Development: Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create and adapt learning materials, ensuring they are accessible and engaging for students with diverse learning needs. Inclusive Education: Create an inclusive classroom culture that celebrates diversity, promotes understanding and encourages positive social interactions. Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and working with the teaching team to adjust support strategies as needed. Personal Development: Promote and encourage effective learning habits, organisational skills, and independent learning. Requirements: To be considered for this position, you will need: · Enhanced DBS Check or be willing to complete one. · Relevant previous experience in a support role · Demonstrate a compassionate and patient attitude, with a genuine commitment to understanding and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
