Year 4 Class Teacher – Guide Confident Learners Through Key Stage 2 Job Title KS2 Teacher – Year 4 Salary £30,000 – £40,000 per annum School Type Primary Location Coventry Area Hours 8:30am – 4:00pm, Full-Time, Contract Job Description We are looking for an experienced KS2 teacher to take on a Year 4 class in a welcoming and ambitious primary school in Coventry. You’ll deliver engaging, structured lessons that support children academically and personally through this key stage of their development. Key Responsibilities * Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum for Year 4 * Assess progress and tailor support to meet individual pupil needs * Create a calm and inclusive classroom where all children feel encouraged and confident * Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure every child receives the right level of guidance * Engage with parents and carers to share progress and foster strong home-school links Required Experience * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Proven experience teaching KS2 pupils * Strong understanding of the curriculum and effective classroom management * A nurturing, proactive teaching style with a focus on positive outcomes About the School This Coventry primary school is known for its inclusive ethos, strong community ties and clear focus on academic and personal growth.
