Job Description

As a 1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant, you\'ll support pupils facing SEMH challenges in a friendly and inclusive secondary setting. Working closely with classroom teachers and the SENDCo, you\'ll deliver one-to-one and small-group support, adapt learning materials, and help foster a calm, nurturing environment where learners can succeed emotionally and academically.

Required Experience / Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children with SEMH or SEND in an educational or care setting

  • A proactive, patient, and caring approach

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships

  • A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
