What You’ll Do:
- Safely and efficiently operate and maintain a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver product to residential, commercial and industrial job sites.
- Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, environmental and DOT regulations.
- Ensure product quality and order accuracy.
- Maintain positive customer relationships by providing professional and courteous service.
- Keep your truck clean and free of buildup, for optimal performance and professional appearance.
- Assist with precast block production, yard maintenance, and general labour duties as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred (willing to train for concrete).
- Valid Class B CDL (Class A preferred), current DOT medical card, and an insurable driving record.
- Experience in ready-mix concrete delivery or other construction-related trucking is a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate with dispatch, co-workers and customers.
- Strong understanding of safe driving practices and DOT regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in all weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work varying start times, overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed.
- Familiarity with the local delivery routes and job sites a plus.
