Our client is a global consultancy offering financial risk management and treasury solution services to large corporate clients. The company has between 70-90 employees in offices in Asia, Europe and North America.
Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer, you will be responsible for creating and executing client growth plans while supporting consultant teams globally in their business development efforts. The focus is on equipping client-facing teams with the tools, strategies, and insights needed to drive sustainable growth. While some direct client interaction may be required, the primary emphasis is on internal enablement and strategic execution.
This company requires all employees to be on site 5 days a week. The office is in Central London. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Responsibilities
- Communicate growth plans across the organization, setting clear expectations for consultant BD contribution.
- Identify and embed best practices to drive continuous improvement in BD execution.
- Work with team leads and consultants to improve BD quality and volume using a data-driven approach.
- Ensure internal client-facing teams deliver on strategic growth plans.
- Develop and monitor client growth plans, leveraging company and market data to shape strategy.
- Track global market trends to refine commercial approaches and identify opportunities.
- Oversee a calendar of centrally managed campaigns (e.g., thought leadership, product launches, client insights).
- Own and maintain a central repository of sales collateral and BD tools.
- Optimize CRM systems and other tools to enhance BD effectiveness.
- Oversee BD training programs to improve consultant capability and impact.
- Lead onboarding efforts to ensure new employees understand and align with the company’s growth strategy.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of years of relevant experience in business development, commercial strategy, or related roles, ideally within consulting or professional services (intangible products)
- Experience designing and executing client growth plans and bus dev campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills to leverage data for decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Track record of implementing change with measurable commercial outcomes.
- Experience working with external agencies on marketing, branding, or related initiatives.
- Professional qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., finance, marketing, business management)
- Confidence interacting with senior stakeholders in the firm to improve BD quality.
