As part of this growth, our Finance team is expanding, and we are excited to welcome a skilled Junior Finance Analyst to join us.

As a Junior Finance Analyst, you will report to the Head of Project Finance and play a key part in ensuring the smooth and effective management of the non-contestable elements within each project. This is a great opportunity if you have great administration experience working with Microsoft Office Excel and looking for a career in Finance. Your responsibilities as a Junior Finance Analyst:

  • Maintain accurate non‐contestable templates for all Design & Build projects, ensuring they are kept up to date and fully reconciled against budgets and actuals.
  • Create variations in simPRO for any changes to non‐contestable budgets, making sure customers are billed correctly and any budget differences are resolved.
  • Liaise effectively with Incumbent Water Companies and internal teams to address queries and support smooth project delivery.
  • Ensure Water Asset Values are collected, recorded and corrected where required, and report Water Remedials to the Financial Controller Head of Project Finance for provisioning.
  • Complete month end reporting, including analysis of variances with clear narratives and calculation of POC Costs Unknown journals.

Experience / Knowledge:

  • Administration experience
  • Experience working with Microsoft Packages, including Excel
  • Finance Experience (desirable)
