As a Senior Investment Manager at Last Mile, you’ll take the lead on strategic investment analysis across our utility infrastructure assets — driving long-term revenue forecasting, portfolio evaluation, and project-specific asset valuation. Managing a small team, you’ll provide guidance and support while continuing to shape the direction and maturity of the investment function. This role offers significant scope for growth, with opportunities to expand your influence, develop strategic capabilities, and play a key part in the continued success of a rapidly evolving business.

Your responsibilities as a Senior Investment Manager:
- Lead the development of long-term revenue forecasts and financial models, including regulated tariff modelling.
- Oversee portfolio analysis across installed assets, orderbook, and pipeline to inform strategic decisions.
- Drive project-specific asset valuation and investment modelling to support key business cases.
- Prepare and present investment cases and insights to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members while contributing to strategic planning and investment prioritisation.
Experience / Knowledge:
- 5+ years’ experience in investment analysis, infrastructure, utilities, or regulated sectors.
- Advanced financial modelling skills (Excel essential; VBA, Python or Power BI desirable).
- Understanding of asset revenue modelling.
- Experience within regulated revenue structures is desirable.
Qualifications:
- Professional qualification (e.g. CFA, ACA, CIMA)
