Your responsibilities as a Junior Finance Analyst
- Create and maintain non-contestable templates for all Last Mile Design and Build North and Scotland projects and sites, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
- Reconcile non-contestable templates against budgets and actuals, identifying and resolving any differences.
- Liaise with Incumbent Water Companies and internal departments to manage queries and support timely resolutions.
- Create variations in sim PRO for changes to non-contestable budgets, ensuring updates are billed to customers, and any budget differences are corrected.
- Support month end reporting by preparing non-contestable analysis, variance narratives, Water Remedials reporting and POC Costs Unknown Journals.
Experience / Knowledge
- Experience of working in a Finance role
- IT Literate with use of Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial controls
