Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve complex financial models across the Group, supporting accurate consolidation and valuation.
  • Gather and consolidate financial and operational data, use scenario modelling to assess performance, test sensitivities, and support business planning.
  • Present data and modelling results to senior internal and external stakeholders, and work with external parties on valuation reviews.
  • Identify and resolve inconsistencies in financial data, enhancing data quality and reliability.
  • Support the Group Finance Team in preparing group‑level financial reports, board presentations and external reporting, and participate in financial planning and forecasting initiatives to drive strategic goals.
  • Maintain knowledge of changes to the price regulatory model and lead financial analysis for shareholders as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience building complex financial models for long‑term planning, ideally within a financial institution, regulated utility or similar organisation with a complex capital structure.
  • Ability to analyse large volumes of financial data to identify trends, drivers and performance insights using relevant metrics.
  • Proven experience gathering requirements from stakeholders and incorporating them into models.
  • Skilled at presenting data to senior leaders and responding to detailed queries.
  • Advanced Excel skills, debt modelling, multi‑level data structures and strong understanding of DCF valuation and sensitivities.
  • Strong analytical capability, including scenario analysis, sensitivities and forecasting techniques.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics or a related field (Master’s preferred). CFA or Chartered Accountancy qualification preferred.
