With continued growth across the business, we are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to join our team.

As a Business Development Executive reporting to the Head of Account Management, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong long term customer relationships. Acting as the main point of contact throughout the asset adoption process, you will take a proactive approach to account management, ensuring customers receive clear communication, consistent support and a smooth experience. You will manage day to day customer needs, work closely with internal teams to deliver solutions, and identify opportunities that support retention, growth and increased value.

Your responsibilities as a Business Development Executive:

  • Build and manage relationships with a portfolio of customers to support the adoption of gas, electricity, water and wastewater assets, including smart metering and other opportunities
  • Prepare competitive asset value quotations within agreed commercial parameters using relevant design tools and financial models
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to monitor enquiries, quotations and acceptances, ensuring sales targets and adoption KPIs are achieved
  • Use account performance data to track progress through the asset adoption process, identify issues early and drive continuous improvement
  • Provide administrative and operational support throughout the sales and account management lifecycle, from initial enquiry through to completion

Experience / Knowledge:

  • Customer Service experience, dealing with external customers
  • Experience working in sales and/or account management
  • Strong IT skills
