Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a new opportunity? Mildenhall College Academy is looking to appoint a new Interventions HLTA. As Intervention HLTA, the successful candidate will work with a range of SEND and Pupil Premium students to support their cognition and learning needs through targeted intervention.

About you

  • Enthusiastic individual who is self‑motivated and has a passion for supporting teaching and learning by establishing supportive relationships with students, helping to raise their self‑esteem and develop a positive attitude to learning within a secondary Academy.
  • Relish the opportunity to work with young people in a vibrant and dynamic learning environment.
  • Minimum of GCSE or equivalent at grade 4/C in English and Maths.
  • Hold a HLTA Qualification (or be willing to complete this qualification).
  • Enthusiastic, patient, and able to use their own initiative to support students in the classroom to ensure that they are making progress academically, socially, and emotionally.
