A leading global consulting firm is looking to appoint multiple Delivery Managers to join its growing Data & AI practice, focused on supporting major Banking and Capital Markets clients through large-scale transformation and innovation programmes. They are open to hiring at Manager, Senior Manager or Associate Director, dependent on experience. Please note this role will not be suitable for consulting candidates at the director level.
This is an exciting opportunity for a delivery-focused Data expert who combines strong technical understanding with excellent stakeholder management and consulting experience. You will lead complex data and AI engagements, helping clients unlock value from their data, modernise their platforms, and deliver business-critical outcomes using cutting-edge technologies.
The Role
As an AI & Data Delivery Manager you will lead multi-disciplinary and often multi-location teams to deliver large-scale data and AI projects programmes across the Banking or Capital Markets sector. The role offers broad exposure across transformation, implementation, advisory and remediation initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the delivery of complex data and AI transformation programmes for Banking or Capital Markets clients
- Managing and coordinating multi-skilled delivery teams across client and consulting environments
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to project teams and senior stakeholders
- Working closely with clients to understand business challenges and shape tailored data and AI solutions
- Building strong, long-term client relationships and managing stakeholder communications effectively
- Supporting the evolution of internal Data & AI capabilities by identifying market trends and emerging technologies
- Contributing to business development activities including proposals, bids, client presentations and pre-sales engagements
- Coaching and developing junior team members while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture
- Driving successful programme outcomes across both Agile and traditional delivery environments
About You
You will bring a strong background in data, AI or technology consulting within Financial Services, with particular experience delivering programmes across the Banking or Capital Markets sector. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Extensive experience delivering large-scale data or AI transformation programmes within Financial Services
- Strong leadership experience managing high-performing teams and complex stakeholder environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences
- Experience gathering requirements, shaping solutions and translating technical concepts into business outcomes
- Strong understanding of modern data architecture, data governance, data quality and data strategy principles
- Knowledge of AI and emerging data technologies, products and delivery approaches
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP, alongside technologies including Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, Hadoop, SQL and Python
- Experience working with delivery methodologies including Agile, SAFe and Waterfall
- Strong proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence and Planview
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to operate independently and drive results
Experience contributing to consulting bids, RFP responses and client growth initiatives would also be highly advantageous.
