A leading global consulting firm is looking for a Director to lead Applied AI growth across their Telecoms, Media and Technology client base — a senior role that spans strategy, commercial delivery and the development of market-leading AI capabilities.
The Role
- You will own the TMT Applied AI growth agenda, building and sustaining senior client relationships across major accounts while originating and closing complex, high-value engagements.
- This means leading pursuit teams from executive relationship development through to proposal, negotiation and close — with accountability for commercial performance and delivery outcomes across the portfolio.
- A significant part of the remit is building and scaling market-facing offerings.
- You will define value propositions, pricing approaches and delivery models for GenAI and advanced analytics solutions, and work closely with alliance and engineering leaders to industrialise those solutions at scale.
- You will also operate as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders, translating AI capability into measurable financial, customer and operational outcomes.
- Alongside the commercial agenda, you will provide executive sponsorship for complex, multi-workstream AI programmes — ensuring strong governance, responsible AI practices, and rigorous risk management are embedded throughout.
- Developing and retaining senior consulting talent is equally central to this role.
What You'll Bring
- A proven track record of winning and leading large, complex consulting engagements across major TMT accounts.
- Deep fluency in the modern AI stack — GenAI, LLMs, RAG, MLOps, cloud platforms — combined with the commercial acumen to shape investment cases and operating models.
- Sector grounding in high-impact TMT use cases: telco operations, network assurance, media supply chains or developer productivity.
- The executive presence to influence C-suite stakeholders and represent the firm in senior client forums.
- Experience establishing responsible AI governance frameworks, including privacy, bias, explainability and model risk management.
Why This Role
AI adoption across TMT is accelerating, and the organisations getting it right are those with trusted partners who can bridge strategy, commercials and delivery. This is a role for an AI leader who wants to shape that agenda — not just advise on it.
