The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
We are looking for a bright and capable paralegal to join our team. There will be a high level of responsibility from the outset so the successful candidate will need to be naturally self-motivated, enthusiastic and possess a positive attitude towards the challenges and opportunities of working in a dynamic, demanding and fast-paced environment.
The successful candidates will have a law degree, GDL diploma or equivalent and a strong academic history (at least 2:1 or equivalent). Previous litigation experience from a London law firm is essential. Strong organisational and planning skills are crucial as is the ability to work independently or within a team as required and communicate effectively with people at all levels.
Career progression to trainee/newly qualified solicitor is available within 12 months subject to performance. The successful candidate will primarily work in our litigation team focusing on large-scale consumer group action cases and closely with one Partner in particular to assist on their workload across the business.
There will be plenty of opportunity to contribute to the legal case work and access to tasks that would usually be reserved for trainees/NQs in bigger firms. The role will also involve data management and working with our claims management affiliate to manage the cases of tens of thousands of clients. Aptitude for numerical tasks are a must, as is competency on Microsoft Excel. Prior experience of working in group litigation is desirable but not essential.
