Milan Babic Architects is seeking an architect to join its team in London. Our projects include residential, hospitality, workplace and other one-off projects. The practice’s expertise lies in working on constrained urban sites, conservation areas and listed buildings. The ideal candidate has strong design skills, a passion for high-quality architecture and an interest in creating a positive impact within the built environment. We offer a friendly and creative studio environment where ideas are greatly valued.
Required skills and qualities:
- Honesty, dedication, creativity and willingness to learn.
- Experience at a UK-based architecture practice.
- Strong design and detailing skills.
- Excellent skills in communication and visualisation.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work through technical issues.
- Good understanding of relevant UK codes and building regulations.
- Good understanding of relevant planning policies.
All applicants must demonstrate a minimum of five years of office working experience. The successful candidate will be expected to design buildings, prepare all necessary documentation to build their design, and supervise the works to completion.
Desirable:
- Competence in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, InDesign, Adobe Suite, VU City and rendering software.
- Experience through all RIBA stages, including in UK procurement and construction.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
- A keen interest in the running of office computer systems.
