Join Our Team as a Laboratory Warehouse Coordinator! Are you ready to put pets first? At CVS Vets, we make pets a priority every day! We're on the lookout for a dynamic and passionate animal enthusiast to step into the role of a Laboratory Warehouse Coordinator at our Milab Diagnostics.

Role Details:

  • Location: Milab Diagnostics, Harleston, Norfolk, IP20 9EB
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Shift Pattern: Working 08:00 - 16:30, Monday - Friday

About the Role:

  • Order Management: Prepare and complete daily orders for delivery, including picking, scanning, packing, and shipping items to ensure timely dispatch.
  • Delivery Processing: Receive and process deliveries from suppliers by unloading, safely storing, and rotating stock.
  • Inventory Control: Conduct monthly stock takes, ensuring accurate cross-referencing with computer records.
  • Stock Management: Monitor stock levels to ensure a first-in, first-out rotation system, and promptly inform the General Manager of any stock shortages or expired items.
  • Workplace Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, optimising space utilisation and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as scissor lifts and manual pallet trucks to aid efficiency.
  • Fridge Monitoring: Log and monitor fridge temperatures to ensure proper storage conditions are maintained for sensitive materials.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all personnel entering the warehouse adhere to safe working practices to maintain a secure environment.
  • Prioritisation of Urgent Orders: Prioritise and manage 'rush orders' to meet urgent client needs.
  • Facility Maintenance: Conduct regular housekeeping to uphold the cleanliness of the building.
  • Documentation and Records: Assemble and maintain general paperwork and MiLab documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
