About the Role
We are looking for friendly, professional Receptionists to join The Villa Wrea Green. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience from arrival to departure. Working within the Front Office team, you’ll support the day-to-day running of reception, ensuring smooth operations across guest services, reservations, and administration while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Guest Experience
- Welcome guests, visitors, and contractors with a warm and professional approach
- Deliver efficient and accurate check-in and check-out processes
- Handle guest enquiries in person, via telephone, and email promptly and courteously
- Provide information about the hotel, facilities, local area, and events
- Reservations & Administration
- Take and manage bedroom and venue bookings using internal systems
- Maintain accurate guest records and administrative documentation
- Assist with general administrative duties within the reception function
- Operations & Service Delivery
- Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfil guest requests
- Support the presentation and organisation of the reception area
- Follow company procedures, health & safety guidelines, and confidentiality standards
- Payments & Problem Resolution
- Process payments and handle billing queries in line with company policies
- Carry out basic cash handling and end-of-shift procedures
- Respond to complaints and feedback professionally, escalating when appropriate
