Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
  • Efficiently manage reservations using OpenTable booking systems, ensuring a smooth and organised flow of guests.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails promptly, addressing customer inquiries and special requests effectively.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant team to accommodate guest preferences and special occasions, ensuring seamless service.
  • Support the floor team during service by offering water, assisting with table maintenance, and helping to create a smooth guest experience.
  • Assist with clearing and resetting tables when needed, maintaining the overall presentation of the restaurant.
  • Learn and maintain strong knowledge of the menu to confidently guide and advise guests.
  • Resolve any guest issues or complaints with poise and professionalism, always striving to exceed expectations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a receptionist in a high‑end restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Proficiency in using OpenTable and Seven Rooms booking systems is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
