Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced MOT tester to join our team in Weston Super Mare. The role involves performing rigorous MOT testing and providing expert advice on vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Use technical knowledge to service/repair customer vehicles, carry out checks and maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines.
- Accurately record all chargeable labour, components and consumables on the job card, aiming to meet manufacturers' servicing and repair times.
- Advise Service Receptionists on required repairs, providing necessary information and time estimates.
- Ensure correct labelling of warranty‑removed parts to enable efficient processing.
- Control the use of materials, tools and consumables to minimise wastage.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in MOT testing.
- Appropriate qualifications for conducting MOT tests.
