*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled MOT tester or level 3 Vehicle mechanic join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. *Duties*
* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify faults and issues * Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and other vehicle systems * Use hand tools and power tools to carry out repairs efficiently and accurately * Diagnose mechanical problems using specialised equipment and techniques * Keep detailed records of all work carried out on each vehicle * Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications * Assist in ordering parts and maintaining an organised workshop environment * Test drive vehicles post-repair to confirm issues have been resolved effectively
*Qualifications*
* Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle repair and maintenance * Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively * Good problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues * Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently * Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive engineering or mechanics are desirable but not essential * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team * A valid driving licence is preferred
