MCR are currently recruiting for Hot Forge Operators for our busy client in Halesowen.
Duties will be but not limited to:
- Operating hot forging machines and equipment, furnaces, and press equipment
- Following technical drawings you will be heating and shaping metals to high temperatures using industrial furnaces and pressing techniques
- Apply hardening and tempering methods to enhance strength and durability
- Quality Inspecting finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Also required to carry out daily maintenance and safety checks
- Follow health and Safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
Must have:
- Previous experience in hot forging
- Skilled in using hand tools and industrial machinery
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Understanding forging techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physical stamina and strength for handling heavy materials
- Good hand-eye coordination and precision
Hours are Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm, 12pm finish on Fridays.
Rate of pay to start: Β£17.50ph
