The predicted salary is between 36000 - 44000 £ per year.
We are seeking a skilled person to join our client’s friendly team as a practice accountant, completing year-end and management accounts along with associated tax returns. The successful candidate will play a primary role in supporting the team and a wide range of clients. This role is part time and can be 10 - 25 hours depending on your requirement and flexible to hours and days.
The role will include:
- Preparation of accounts (Ltd Co, LLP, sole trade, partnership)
- Preparation of Company tax returns
- Company Secretarial work as and when required
- Preparation of personal and partnership tax returns as required
- Assistance with VAT, payroll, CIS and bookkeeping as required
- Preparation of management accounts
- Liaising with clients, other members of the accounts team, bookkeepers and payrollers in order to obtain the required information to prepare client accounts
- Completion of own timesheet on a daily basis
- Completion of one-off tasks as directed
- To follow the policies and procedures of the Practice
- Organisation and planning of own workload and prioritising to meet deadlines
- Ad hoc client support
Key responsibilities:
- Produce a high standard of work within strict deadlines
- Report to Managers on a regular basis with respect to workload
- Identify own training and development needs
- Ensure compliance with deadlines
