Miista is looking for a Wholesale Sales Manager with strong commercial knowledge to take the wholesale area of the business to the next level of expansion. The Miista Group is a privately owned entity with a Holding and 5 international subsidiaries (Portugal, France, Spain, US and UK). It has been trading for over 12 years in the premium and high-end women's wear segment. Initially with a focus in the footwear sector, the company has, in the last 4 years, ventured into new categories, including the design and manufacturing of its ready-to-wear and accessories, developing and achieving a full lifestyle message. The brand is currently distributed across the main international fashion markets - North America, Asia and Europe - and has customers in more than 30 countries.

The role will take responsibility for:

  • Define and execute the overall B2B strategy together with the Sales Director.
  • In collaboration with the design team and merchandising manager, plan the needs of the Wholesale range plan of products offered in the market.
  • Plan and be physically present during the selling campaigns at fashion weeks and all other fairs/showroom activities at an international level.
  • Have the overall responsibility for setting goals and reaching budgets for in-season sales.
  • Collaborate with the merchandising team on finding and securing in-season reorder opportunities to maximize performance.
  • Follow up on B2B KPIs and OKRs on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis, making sure they are in line with the company’s overall objectives.
  • Set and consistently follow up on the yearly overall budget for Miista´s B2B business, ensuring sales-targeted revenue is achieved.
  • Prospect and manage a group of sales agents/managers, ensuring all teams have the right information, material and training they need to reach their region's targets.
  • Support Logistics and Finance with timely payments and delivery of orders.
  • Travel regularly to Key Accounts offering training and product advice, with a focus on USA and Europe.
  • Finding key strategic partnerships and collaborations in the wholesale area which can lead to additional revenue streams.
  • Negotiate and plan marketing contractual contributions with Key Accounts.
  • Contribute actively to building and maintaining the Miista community of buyers, agents and other partners.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a fashion, footwear or accessories company
  • Minimum 5 years of wholesale experience
  • Good knowledge of the USA and European markets
  • Great business acumen with experience in reporting and budgeting
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
