Miista is an independent footwear brand with a global network of wholesale partners, from major department stores like Selfridges, Galeries Lafayette and Rinascente to carefully selected independents across Europe and the USA. The brand is currently distributed across the main international fashion markets - North America, Asia and Europe - and has customers in more than 30 countries. We are a small team, which means the people who join us have genuine ownership over their work and real impact on how the brand grows. It has been trading for over 12 years in the premium and high-end women's wear segment.
This is a hands-on commercial role. You will be responsible for hitting Miista's wholesale revenue targets, owning client relationships end to end, and actively prospecting new business. You will contribute to B2B strategy alongside the Sales Director, but your day-to-day is in the market, with buyers, agents and accounts.
- Manage a network of sales agents, be the main commercial point of contact for all partners, and be physically present at selling campaigns and fashion weeks to take appointments with buyers.
- Actively prospect and open new wholesale accounts across Europe and the USA.
- Represent Miista at fashion weeks and showroom appointments.
- Negotiate terms, marketing contributions and trading conditions with key accounts.
- Travel regularly to key accounts across Europe and the USA to provide product training, commercial support and relationship development.
- Manage our sales agents: set targets, provide materials and training, hold performance conversations.
Budget Management:
- Own the annual wholesale revenue budget and track performance weekly, monthly and seasonally.
- Follow up on B2B KPIs and OKRs consistently, flagging risks and driving corrective action with agents and accounts.
- Collaborate with Design and Merchandising on the wholesale range plan, translating market feedback into commercial decisions.
- Oversee the full order cycle in partnership with the Wholesale Operations Assistant, covering confirmations, delivery windows, PO tracking, product data and after-sales.
- Be the commercial escalation point for claims, delivery disputes and payment issues.
- Work closely with Logistics and Finance to ensure timely delivery and payment across the account base.
Monthly visits to our head office in A Corũna to collaborate with the extended team and build relationships.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of wholesale experience in fashion, footwear or accessories.
- Strong existing relationships in the European and/or US wholesale market.
- Experience managing sales agents or a regional sales team.
- Comfortable with the full commercial cycle, from prospecting and negotiation through to order management and after-sales.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both are used daily across the business.
- Sharp with numbers: confident in budgeting, forecasting and reading sell-through data.
- Highly organised, managing multiple markets, accounts and deadlines simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and wholesale order management platforms.
You are excited by independent brands with a genuine point of view. You can hold a strategic conversation with a Buying Director and then get into the details of an account's delivery window in the same meeting. You do not see operations as beneath you and understand that a clean process is what makes commercial relationships work.
