We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our Maintenance team in this new hotel. This role is essential in maintaining the aesthetic quality and overall condition of the property, ensuring all guest and back-of-house areas reflect the high standards of the Miiro brand. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, woodwork, and fixtures.
- Carry out regular inspections to identify areas requiring touch-ups or repainting.
- Ensure all painting work is completed to a high standard, with attention to detail and consistency.
- Maintain and care for painting tools, equipment, and materials.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team and other departments to schedule work with minimal disruption to guests.
- Follow health and safety procedures, including proper handling and storage of materials.
- Assist with general maintenance tasks when required.
- Keep accurate records of completed work and report any maintenance issues observed.
