Key Responsibilities
- Schedule Management – Timeline Oversight: Ensure project activities are scheduled realistically and adjusted as needed while monitoring critical paths and dependencies to avoid delays.
- Performance Reporting – Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress and milestones to ensure timelines are met. Developing and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
- Risk Management – Identify Risks: Work with the project team to identify financial, scheduling, and resource-related risks.
- Financial Management and Cost Control: Budgeting, Forecasting and Cost Monitoring.
- Tools and Systems Management – System Utilisation: Manage and optimise the use of project management tools (e.g., ERP, Primavera, MS Project).
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in Project Scheduling, Planning, Cost Control and Risk Management.
- Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Project Management tools (e.g., ERP, Primavera, MS Project).
- A relevant qualification such as from APM (PMQ, PPQ), PRINCE2 or PMP would be of benefit.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
