Key Responsibilities
- Managing the full Purchase Order (PO) process, from receiving requests through to PO completion and receipt; overseeing annual Purchase Order process.
- Handling and resolving routine internal and external queries related to purchase orders and account status, including investigating and communicating the resolution of discrepancies.
- Ensuring internal teams adhere to company PO policies and procedures.
- Overseeing the expenses management process, including reviewing employee expenses such as credit card transactions, cash claims, and travel platform costs.
- Supporting employees with all expenses‑related queries via in‑person discussions, Microsoft Teams, and email.
- Supporting the preparation of expense reports and associated documentation for internal use and external reporting requirements.
- Maintaining and updating supplier documentation and accreditations as required.
- Collaborating with other teams on the annual supplier data audit.
- Working closely with the accounts and sales administration teams, the wider MP employee community as well as Alten Group employees.
- Providing support during the month‑end closing process.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Accounts payable or general accounting experience (desirable).
- Excellent written, verbal communication skills and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and multi‑task skills.
- SAP experience (desirable but not essential).
Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications or professional qualifications are a plus (e.g. CIMA, AAT, ACCA).
