Technical Manager - Lighting Events

Our client is seeking an experienced Lighting Technical Manager to join the team to support growing demand for lighting within live events. The post holder will play a pivotal role in the operation of the lighting department, working closely with other internal departments to ensure the service is client focused, meets the needs of our accredited venues and delivers excellence for every project. This would suit a bright, self-motivated, and organised individual with technical experience of delivering lighting projects for high value clients.

The post-holder will support our delivery of hybrid, and live events for our corporate clients, which are delivered in the unique venues of London. The post-holder would be responsible for the management of the lighting department. 75% of your time will be based in the office, creating lighting kit lists and booking sub hires.

You will also oversee the preparation of Lighting systems coming in and out of the warehouse, and maintenance and repair where necessary for the department. Knowledge and experience of using industry standard lighting desks is therefore essential along with a good working knowledge of different lighting fixtures including moving heads. This post reports to the Head of Technical as part of the technical team.
