Based in Birmingham City Centre Salary £26,000 – £248,000 per annum dependent upon experience Package – Overtime Free Parking on site Driving licence required Basic hours 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday, however due to the nature of the role, there will be some evening and weekend requirements which will be paid in overtime/lieu Full time permanent position Do you have experience as an AV technician and looking for your next role? We are looking for a candidate who has a proven interest in the live event industry, ideally with hands on knowledge of audio visual, sound, lighting, rigging, set and staging equipment. Duties in the role will include: * Servicing and coordinate all AV requirements as requested by clients through the events team * Offering technical advice and support to the clients and and events team * Ensuring all kit is set up for events neatly and tidy and to a high standard * Keeping an ongoing stock check of equipment on site * Acting as a project lead with the support of live project managers for larger events * Working with the hotel staff to ensure each room has correctly set up required AV equipment * Generating proposals for events and work directly with clients to ensure that their events run smoothly
