The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
Role responsibilities
- Ensure there is a sound understanding of business areas in terms of both present as well as forecasted performance.
- Assist the FP&A team with their lead on the preparation of the quarterly forecasts.
- Support the Financial Reporting Manager with undertaking budgetary versus actual expenditure analysis, providing reports and meaningful information for Senior Finance Members.
- Support in developing project budgets on a full cost recovery basis, and in the preparation of donor reports.
- Support undertaking grant and fund reconciliations periodically, assisting with scenario planning as required.
- Work with both the FP&A Manager and Team Leader to develop financial models for various scenarios, including costing and pricing.
- Support the Bids and Grants team in carrying out due diligence, reporting on grant commitments and supporting impact reporting as required.
- Work effectively and collaboratively with the Financial Operations Manager and Financial Reporting Manager to ensure all work is accurate and timely, including that the coding structure appropriately reflects funding streams.
- Ability to model around different scenarios to support strategic decision making.
The experience and skills you need
- Demonstrable experience with data software.
- Evidence of problem-solving capabilities and a logical approach.
- Exceptional analysis skills, able to see the big picture through analysis and complex quantitative and qualitative data.
- Strong system skills with proven competence in reporting tools as well as Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), an ambition and potential to develop this area.
