Location: Homebased

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £48,000

The Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant role: Part of the Technology team, the Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant is a new and exciting role at Migrant Help. You will be responsible for supporting the design, configuration, delivery and continuous improvement of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions across the organisation. Working closely with business stakeholders, project colleagues, technical teams and third-party suppliers, you will translate business requirements into effective functional solutions that improve services, support users and align with organisational strategy and governance.

Key responsibilities of our Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant:

  • Effective delivery of support and issue resolution, through quality knowledge of Microsoft D365 and the Power Platform products and services, with a particular focus on the CRM Customer Service module.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into fit-for-purpose Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
  • Support the full solution lifecycle, including requirements gathering, process mapping, functional design, configuration, testing, training, deployment and continuous improvement.
  • Work with technical colleagues and third-party suppliers to support integrations and ensure functional requirements are clearly defined, understood and met.
  • Contribute to the change approval board (CAB).
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities, recommending best practice use of standard functionality wherever possible.
  • Champion continuous service improvements using a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Be up to date with future features and improvements to suggest changes where appropriate.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for business users and colleagues, supporting knowledge sharing, training and adoption of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.

The experience and skills you need:

  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements, mapping business processes, and translating needs into functional solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform configuration, workflows, forms, views, dashboards and security, (Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Experience supporting user acceptance testing, training, release readiness and adoption.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships across all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Pays attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in configurations and customisations.
