The Finance Officer role:
Part of the Finance team, the Finance Officer is a rewarding role at Migrant Help. You will provide comprehensive, effective and efficient finance support to the Finance Team Leader and Finance Operational Manager. You will be expected to develop strong relationships with staff across all levels of our business for the purpose of delivering accurate, appropriate and timely finance support, advice and guidance to include all aspects of payroll queries.

Key responsibilities of our Finance Officer:
- Input Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger invoices and credit notes onto Business Central (MS Dynamics) accounting system, ensuring nominal codes are correct and costs are attributed to Cost Centres
- Input all payments and receipts to relevant Business Central (MS Dynamics) Ledgers
- Maintain Business Central (MS Dynamics) Nominal ledger inputs
- Input month end journals as required from our Management Accountant
- Process monthly payroll department cross charges
- Maintain Business Central (MS Dynamics) processing as required
- Reconcile payroll control accounts and input to Business Central (MS Dynamics)
The experience and skills you need:
- Previous experience in a Finance Officer role / similar
- A strong knowledge of Business Central (MS Dynamics) 50 or financial ERP system
- Intermediary to Advanced Excel Skills
- High level of motivation, resilience, and emotional intelligence
