Having come under new ownership in November 2020, the nursery has grown steadily with future bookings confirmed until next year already. To meet these needs, we are looking for a Level 3 qualified Baby Room Leader to join our team as soon as possible. This would suit someone looking for the next step in their early years career.
You must have a sound knowledge of the EYFS and be an organised individual with the enthusiasm and passion needed to work with young children and their families. The nursery is open Monday to Friday from 8am - 6pm and the successful individual will need to offer flexibility to meet the needs of the nursery.

- Self-motivation
- A good understanding of child development and how to support children with differing needs
- A friendly, loving, approachable and warm manner
- Able to use a child centred teaching / learning approach

You will be contracted to work up to 40 hours per week. The nursery is open for 51 weeks of the year. Perks of the job include a paid day off for your birthday, 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, a paid wellbeing day, free on site parking, access to a staff room, a wide range of CPD opportunities, contributory pension scheme, supportive and nurturing environment, staff discount, opportunities for ongoing development and added responsibility, Christmas party and some paid overtime.
This organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Background checks including two references and an enhanced DBS will be required prior to employment. Although a CV is acceptable for your initial expression of interest, a full application form will be required to be completed prior to interview. This will detail all previous work experience and ask for an explanation of any gaps in employment.
