The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are a growing B2C E-Commerce Business reselling Supplements, mainly to the UK and Europe and expanding into new regions. We need a finance expert to help with the day-to-day financial management and transactions, reporting and analysis, and compliance and governance. Be a Business partner to the MD and customer service team and help us grow while ensuring financial health.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day cash via bank, receipts and payments, and headroom.
  • Production of management accounts, to include P&L, BS and CF in a timely and accurate manner, to auditable standard.
  • Arrange and manage FX for foreign payments.
  • Check and approve shipping and key costs via invoice approvals.
  • Oversee import duties and tariffs.
  • Recording month-end stock levels and forecasting stock requirements.
  • Quarterly VAT accounting and returns.
  • Purchase ordering key products from key suppliers (MRP).
  • Set up new legal entities as required (next Eire).
  • Data analysis of revenues and margins, FP&A via e-commerce Metorik platform.
  • Maintain appropriate controls to safeguard assets and manage risks.
  • Responsible for complying with all relevant laws, standards and regulations.
  • Responsible for overseeing Stat accounts production by auditors, manage company secretarial duties.
  • Review company processes and work with MD and customer service teams to improve and make fit for purpose.
  • Any other responsibilities which may fall in line with your job role.

Skills required:

  • Chartered Accountant with at least 5 years of experience, ACMA, ACA or ACCA.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and make complex problems simple for people to understand.
  • Experience of International accounting in EU entities a real plus.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically advanced in Microsoft Excel.

Objectives for year 1: Objectives for year 1 will be discussed and agreed at the end of the 3-month probation period.
