Key Responsibilities:

·        Implement the Company’s Safety Management System (SMS) and adhere to all safe working practices.

·        Perform maintenance, greasing, and cleaning work on deck and in accommodation areas.

·        Operate cranes for loading/unloading operations (if qualified or under supervision).

·        Assist with fish transport-related tasks, ensuring the welfare of live cargo during loading, transit, and unloading.

·        Support mooring operations at ports as directed by senior officers.

·        Carry out navigational watches as a lookout or helmsman.

·        Undertake security duties as instructed by the Ship Security Officer (SSO).

·        Perform additional tasks, as required, to ensure the safe operation of the vessel and cargo.

Requirements:

·        AB certificate of proficiency

·        Nav watch rating certificate

·        Efficient deck hand course

·        Up-to-date STCW certificates.

·        Current ENG1 medical certificate.

·        A commitment to maintaining high safety standards and attention to detail, particularly when handling live cargo.

·        Experience in similar roles or familiarity with live fish transport is advantageous but not essential.
