We are seeking candidates for a full-time apprenticeship to join Envar Service in Welshpool.
The Envar Group includes Envar Engineers and Contractors, Envar Service and Airparts Fabrication, offering a full range of HVAC solutions. With over 100 employees, Envar is one of Western Australia’s largest privately owned HVAC providers, known for its expertise and commitment to quality.
Their services cover engineering, construction, maintenance and service, fabrication, commissioning, fit‑out and refurbishment, aquatic/geothermal systems, hospital and health care facilities, institutional and industrial laboratories and central energy facilities.
This opportunity will allow you to become fully qualified in the specialist trade of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, while working towards your MEM31322 Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Install and service heating, ventilation, and cooling systems in commercial buildings and industrial facilities
- Interpret plans and specifications to ensure accurate installation
- Install and replace components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, air filters, switches, electrical components, and copper lines for steam, gas, refrigerant, fuel, and oil
- Assist with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC system issues
- Work on new, high‑technology buildings in the CBD
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment
Hours
8.00am to 4.30pm Monday Friday, with the opportunity to work overtime regularly.

- A strong team player attitude, willing to listen, learn, and follow instructions
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of hand and power tools
- The ability to adapt to new situations
- Good communication skills
- Punctuality and reliability
- A valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
- A Construction White Card
- Strong safety awareness
- The ability to pass a Pre‑Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen and Police Check
