Miers Court Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Extended Service Assistant (breakfast & After school club) to join the Wrap Around Care Department, to start from 27th August 2026. We are excited to be bringing wrap around care provision in house at Miers Court Primary School and therefore have a number of roles available.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Extended Services Assistant to join our fun and supportive team, providing high-quality care for children aged 4-11. The successful candidate will work to a consistently high standard and contribute to a safe, engaging, and positive educational environment through effective supervision, structured activities, and a nurturing approach, playing an important role in supporting children’s wellbeing within a forward-thinking setting.

The successful candidate will work to a high standard, in return the Howard Academy Trust offers a wide variety of benefits, details of which are outlined below. This is a Part-time, Permanent role, Term Time only, paid on the NJC PAY SCALE E2 point 2-3 (FTE £24,413.00 - £24,796.00 - actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £4,551.68 - £4,623.09 per annum). The post’s salary will increase to the NJC pay scale once the 2026 pay award has been agreed.

The working pattern will consist of 8 hours 15 minutes per week, Breakfast Club Monday-Tuesday Wednesday 7.30am-8.30am, After School Club Monday, Wednesday Thursday 3.15pm-5.00pm.
