About Your Workplace We are looking for a forward-thinking Regional Finance Director in North West Europe. In this role you will drive and develop the business as part of the North West Europe Leadership Team and be part of the Central Controlling Team. You will report to the regional SVP (RSVP) as well as the VP Commercial Finance. The region is on an exciting journey to significantly grow the business and leverage the full potential of the regional set up, consisting of Cluster GB/IE/ZA, Cluster Nordics and Cluster West Europe (BeLux/FR/NL) together with regional organizations for Accounting, IT and Supply Chain. As Regional Finance Director you will secure implementation of Corporate Finance targets and financial results through effective financial steering and business partnering to the RSVP and the regional leadership team. As a strong and pro-active leader you will, together with 6 direct reports, lead and develop the finance team (~35 FTEs) consisting of FP&A organizations in the clusters and a Regional Accounting Team. To succeed you need to be an influential communicator, who can inspire, engage and provide direction for your team as well as the wider Miele business. About You You are currently in a (Regional) Finance Director role in a multi-country set up with the desire to progress your career with Miele. This role will offer you excellent breadth in your career development in a broad set up of markets and the field of finance. Your Key Responsibilities Align strategic priorities and allocate resources to secure effective implementation of global programs Offer financial guidance to RSVP/regional management team for key business decisions, incl. but not limited to financial planning, market investments (A&CA, Own Retail, etc.), customer/channel/territory profitability, cost development, guidelines and helping actively to grow a profitable business Conduct financial analyses and communicate key financial developments frequently to VP Commercial (corporate) Finance/corporate finance leadership team as well as RSVP/regional management team Risk management for the region Define, support and/or take responsibility for structural finance projects from Miele group and Corporate Finance Consult, guide, set requirements for and align Procurement, Logistics, HR and other key global functions regarding cost/P&L development for the region Advise and support Controlling Commercial Operations in development of key initiatives, methodologies and tools Strategically develop and operationally manage the regional finance organization under the functional guidance of the VP Commercial Finance Secure application of Corporate finance methodologies, tools and instruments in the region with necessary adaptations Attract, retain and develop high potential talent to build the total Miele talent pipeline for Finance Role model best practice and influence the team around you to drive our \"Immer Besser\" philosophy Your Competencies / Skills University Degree in business administration with major in Finance (or comparable) High business acumen & commercial mindset 7-10y experience in a multi-national, multi-location and multi-lingual role Multi-year leadership experience Strong track record in Finance and of successfully executed projects Strong ability to build relationships with business partners as well as collaborate with and navigate stakeholders and teams in a sophisticated matrix organization Excellent written and oral communication in English Able and willing to travel several times a month Preferred location: North West Europe or possible another EU country, Great Britan or Switzerland with good flight connections to NWE countries and Düsseldorf If you are the best at what you do and have bold ideas and ambitions for progressing your career with Miele we want to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
