At Miele, we're looking for an experienced FP&A Director (GB, Ireland and South Africa) to join our leadership team. This is more than a finance leadership role. You'll work closely with the Managing Director and senior leaders across the business to influence strategy, steer performance, and help shape the future direction of our GB, Ireland and South Africa cluster. This role also forms a key part of the North West Europe finance team, ensuring that the GBIEZA cluster is represented at a regional level.

If you're equally comfortable discussing commercial opportunities with sales leaders, challenging investment decisions, leading high-performing teams, and turning complex data into clear business actions, we'd like to hear from you.

Your Responsibilities

  • As a key member of the GB, Ireland and South Africa Leadership Team, you partner closely with the Managing Director to shape business decisions, challenge assumptions, and drive sustainable growth.
  • Through insightful analysis of sales, profitability, costs, and cash flow, you turn financial performance into clear actions that help the business focus on what matters most.
  • In close collaboration with commercial and functional leaders, you lead the budgeting, forecasting, and planning process to improve visibility, accuracy, and decision-making across the organisation.
  • Your expertise helps evaluate investments, commercial opportunities, and business initiatives, ensuring resources are allocated where they create the greatest value.
  • Lead and develop the Finance organisation while building a strong business partnering culture that combines financial rigour with commercial thinking.
  • Drive finance transformation, process improvement, and standardisation initiatives that increase efficiency, strengthen transparency, and support future growth.
  • Working across local, regional, and global stakeholders, you ensure strong governance, effective risk management, and oversight of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality activities within the cluster.

What we are looking for

  • Significant experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or a comparable senior finance leadership role, with a track record of influencing business performance and strategic decision-making.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, performance management, profitability analysis, and translating complex financial data into practical business recommendations.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams while creating an environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • A commercial mindset that allows you to balance financial discipline with business ambition and identify opportunities to improve growth, profitability, and operational performance.
  • Proven success partnering with senior executives and cross-functional leadership teams in a complex, multinational environment.
  • Professional finance qualification combined with a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to build credibility with stakeholders across different functions, markets, and levels of the organisation.
