The new joiner will start his/her career in Miebach collaborating with clients and project teams to enhance supply chain efficiency and contribute to cost savings, understanding and modeling the Clients current operational processes, defining, and developing the design of their Distribution Centers and Manufacturing Plants, and supporting implementation activities for the new solutions. This role presents an excellent career opportunity for recent graduates or graduates with some experience to develop supply chain modelling and design skills in multiple industries in an international environment. This position requires domestic travel depending on project requirements.

  • Data Processing: Understand, check, and clean the raw data provided by the client and prepare it for the analysis.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Assist in calculations and data analysis to suggest data-driven solutions. Create visualizations and reports to communicate data findings effectively. Present data-driven insights to project teams and clients to support decision-making.
  • Statistical Analysis: Be able to use statistical methods and tools to analyze warehouse data if required.
  • Model Creation: Create a robust model for the calculation/dimensioning of costs, investments, personnel, etc.
  • Solution Support: Contribute to the development of supply chain or engineering solutions and action plans.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective project execution and timely delivery.
  • Change Management Support: Assist in managing organizational change and helping client teams adapt to new processes and technologies.
  • Documentation: Support the creation of project documentation, reports, and action plans for clients and internal teams, also creating presentations and reports to present to the client.
  • Research Support: Support the team in the research of any new trends and tools.
  • Offer Support: Assist in making offers if required.
  • Customer Meetings: Support participation in customer meetings.

Minimum Qualifications: Degree in Engineering (Industrial / Mechanical / Logistics / Data etc.) Other similar degrees / Masters could be accepted if logical capacities are proven. Certifications in Excel or other data tools are beneficial. Zero to 2 years in Engineering consulting.

  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and data interpretation. Proficiency in Excel / PowerPoint. Familiarity with database and visualization tools such as PowerBi (DAX), QlikSense, Access, SQL (is a plus). Familiarity with Engineering Applications such as AutoCad would be relevant. Other programming knowledge is a plus (Python, RStudio etc.).
  • Team Collaboration: Capacity to work collaboratively with project teams, senior consultants, and clients to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Languages: English. Other languages are a plus (German, Spanish, etc.).
