The University of the West of England (UWE) is seeking a creative and experienced Communications and Engagement Manager to lead the development and delivery of communications, engagement and knowledge-exchange activities across DRAGoN’s ambitious programme of data and analytical research. A key priority will be to design, develop and launch a new Digital Knowledge and Community Hub, creating an accessible and engaging focal point for DRAGoN’s research, data resources, analytical tools, guidance and learning materials. You will also lead the development and implementation of DRAGoN’s communications and engagement strategy, manage its digital and social media presence, and develop innovative ways of communicating complex research to diverse audiences. Working closely with researchers, programme colleagues and external partners, you will lead a varied programme of workshops, seminars, conferences, stakeholder roundtables and networking activities, helping to build an active community around DRAGoN’s work and strengthen connections between research, policy and practice.

This role is part of Bristol Business School which is one of the leading post-1992 university centres for research in the fields of business, management and employment. We support a thriving and vibrant research community with over 100 research active academic staff and large numbers of research students. Our research is focused on supporting the future of organisations.

Where you will be working: UWE Bristol is a campus-based University, with vibrant campus communities that are central to student life. In this role, you’ll be based at our modern Frenchay Campus where we’ve invested in state-of-the-art facilities designed to help both staff and students succeed. You’ll spend most of your time on campus, typically 02 days per week.
